Miley Cyrus' latest single, "We Can't Stop" clearly talks about women with big butts, partying late at night and references to drugs. Well, it's not the least bit surprising given it is Miley Cyrus, the girl "Who Can't Be Tamed." Naturally, Cyrus "Can't be stopped."
Of course, leave it to YouTube singer, Rebecca Black to tune down Miley's single into a cleaner version. The sixteen year old singer recently released her cover of "We Can't Stop" along with Jon D. Who would have thought that Black could pull off an acoustic ballad from a party anthem?
The lyrics of Miley's "We Can't Stop" have been changed to a friendlier version which is a far cry from Miley's party mix. Black's version is stated below.
"To my home girls here living it up; Feelin' alive and are in love; Remember only God can judge ya; Forget the haters 'cause somebody loves ya; Everyone actin' like they know you; So fake, actin' like they so cool; We all so turned up here; Getting turned up, yeah, yeah."
As for the original version, the second verse lyrics to "We Can't Stop" are stated below.
"To my home girls here with the big butt; Shaking it like we at a strip club; Remember only God can judge ya; Forget the haters 'cause somebody loves ya; And everyone in line in the bathroom; Trying to get a line in the bathroom; We all so turned up here; Getting turned up, yeah, yeah."
While some "Smilers" are the least bit happy about Black's cover, a few other fans agree that Rebecca's version is way better. A few comments on Rebecca's YouTube cover are as follows.
"WOW, I loved her 2nd verse a lot better than Miley's! Nice job, Rebecca! You, too, Jon!" stated user Demi Valentine.
"She is only sixteen, it's a bit assumptions to assume they were trying to make it 'family friendly'. Great cover, regardless," added user TobyToby.
