The singing sensation famous for the viral hit "Friday" has released a second single called "My Moment", that can easily draw the attention of TIME and Rolling Stone critics.

Rebecca Black, the 14-year-old online sensation, has released a follow-up to her much talked-about single Friday called "My Moment". Unlike her first single that was ridiculed due to its juvenile and grammatically-challenged lyrics, My Moment features a coherent flow of phrases that invites listeners to explore a deeper side of the singer. "Weren't you the one who said I would be nothing/ but I'm about to prove you wrong", says the lyrics that seem to be revealing a different character of Black.

Though the singer hopes her second single will redeem her from the negative publicity of her first single, critics are early to say what they think of the song. Rolling Stone magazine writes "It's hard to imagine this song or video capturing anyone's imagination in the way Friday did", while TIME comments "My Moment, while certainly containing more thoughtful lyrics than her first musical endeavour, still maintains the silliness that we've come to expect".

Though not entirely positive comments, the singer should be proud that these publications took the time to give her song a chance. This alone is a big achievement, despite being continuously bashed online and on late night shows. Unsurprisingly, the song features auto-tuning of Black's young voice, without a single memorable line to be proud of.
