After her almost fashion faux pas at the Olympics opening ceremony party at the Buckingham palace, Kate Middleton makes a fashion comeback to reclaim her crown.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, looked elegant in a dress she previously wore in another occasion. Although it was a fashion repeat, the royal looked better than the first time she wore the dress.

Kate Middleton steps out solo to attend a cocktail party at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. She was greeted by Prime Minister David Cameron as she made her appearance in support of the British's government's GREAT campaign.

After being criticized for what she wore at the Olympics opening ceremony the other day at the Buckingham Palace, The Duchess made sure that she makes it right this time. She wore a dress made by Serbian-born, London-based designer Roksanda Ilincic.

She even appeared more elegant and sophisticated with her hair pulled back in a chignon. To complete he look, Kate paired the dress with neutral pumps and Kiki McDonough drop earrings. The Duchess was first seen wearing the dress when she arrived in Los Angeles last year on her inaugural royal tour. But during her appearance yesterday, she looked exquisite from head to toe.

Certainly, The Duchess of Cambridge has managed to bounce back from her fashion miss a few days ago. Kate was clearly outshined by US First Lady, Michelle Obama, during the Olympics opening ceremony.
