Genuine rock royalty, Red Hot Chili Peppers, has announced the release date of their forthcoming studio album entitled "I'm With You", through bassist Flea's Twitter account. The album is set to hit the shelves on August 30 with a first single coming out on July 18.

I'm With You is going to be the band's tenth full-length record after their 2006 release Stadium Arcadium, which included hits Dani California and Hump de Bump. "It gives me profound pleasure deep in the fiber of my being to announce the august 30 release date of our new red hot chili peppers' record", tweets bassist Flea.

The album's first single, entitled The Adventures of Raindance Maggie, will hit radio stations and online streaming sites on Juy 18 and fans couldn't be more excited. Just like his absence on the band's last record, famed guitarist John Frusciante won't be heard on this album. Guitarist Josh Klinghoffer joined the band in 2010 and was set to provide guitar tracks and performances as Frusciante's replacement. Frusciante first left the band in 1992, and returned in 1999 for their release Californication that included the hits Scar Tissue, Other Side and the title track.

Red Hot Chili Peppers stunned the rock music industry with their 1991 breakthrough album Blood Sugar Sex Magik, which was stated at #310 in Rolling Stone magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. The album quickly became an industry staple and included 90's rock anthems such as Under the Bridge, Give It Away and Suck My Kiss. Several years, awards, and albums later, Red Hot Chili Peppers still continue to electrify fans with energetic songs and performances despite some ruckus in their line-up. The band is set to play at festivals between August and October, details are yet to be released.
