Absolutely stunning Dakota Johnson, 24, was undoubtedly born with a rich set of acting genes.

The daughter of Golden Globe-winning actor Don Johnson and Academy Award-nominated actress Melanie Griffith, Dakota is all set to create waves across the globe as Anastasia Steele, the pretty innocent heroine opposite Jamie Dornan who has played the much talked about role of Christian Grey in the movie adaptation of E.L. James’ extremely popular bestselling novel Fifty Shades of Grey.

Fifty Shades of Grey has been directed by Sam Taylor-Wood and the cast includes Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan and Luke Grimes.

The movie is slated to release on the Valentine’s Day 2015.

Dakota has put a ban on her parents saying they won’t be allowed to watch the raunchy Fifty Shades of Grey.

While talking to IndieWire, Melanie Griffith revealed she had not watched 50 Shades of Grey.

“I don't think I'm going to see it. Dakota was like, “You guys cannot come. There's no way."

“So we're not going. I did go visit for a couple of days when they were shooting just normal stuff. I did see the Room of Pain. I did go in there and check it out,” 56 year old Melanie added afterwards.

As explained by IndieWire, “She is amazing, so good. It's just so beautiful to see her doing this. She had her mom and her dad and her grandmother and she's just taken us all and thrown us away. She's like, "Here I am," Melanie was quoted saying.

On her maternal side, Dakota is the granddaughter of Golden Globe-winning actress Tippi Hedren.

Presently it is believed that Dakota is in a relationship with singer Matthew Hitt.

According to reports Dakota will be appearing in the upcoming film Black Mass (2015) opposite another brilliant actor Johnny Depp.
