Reese Witherspoon opens up on being happily married to Jim Toth. The actress is obviously on the clouds because the 35-year old actress is blooming now more than ever.

Little did Reese Witherspoon know that her fateful encounter with a drunken guy would lead her to marrying the love of her life? Well, surprisingly Jim Toth, the drunken guy's friend, was all Reese was looking for in a man even if their first encounter was awkward.

"Jim came over and said, 'Please excuse my friend, he's just broken up with someone,' " shares Reese in an interview with Elle Magazine. I remember thinking ... Jim was a really good friend, pulling [his drunk pal] out of that situation. That's just kind of who he is, a really good person," gushes Reese.

Her first encounter with Jim may not have been the best situation where sparks could have flew but Reese openly admitted she was lucky to have met Jim despite the "drunken" situation.

"I got lucky. I did. I got very lucky, and he's so wonderful with the children," says the actress in an interview by Marie Claire. "I'm very blessed."

Reese may not have been lucky with her first marriage with Ryan Philippe and her life afterwards may not be the best moments in her life, but Jim Toth had saved her from all this. The actress admitted she lived a life of sadness and fear after her divorce with Ryan in 2006.

"I used to be afraid to travel and afraid to leave my house, afraid to leave my kids - that something horrible was going to happen," says Reese. "Until I got remarried, I don't think I realized how stressed I was. I feel so much relief. I don't think I realized how stressed I was being a single parent. It was really, really stressful. It's not easy on anybody. It's really traumatic," she added.

Apart from being a great father to Reese's kids, Reese shared her fondness over Toth's caring quality.

"Jim's like, 'I'm gonna show you every day what a good partner is, what a good person is,' " says Reese. " 'I'm going to take care of you. I'm going to do it so much that you're gonna get used to it.' I was like, 'What are you talking about? I've never had anybody like that in my life.' "

Well, we're happy for Reese. She's finally found the love of her life and she won't even have to worry about another drunken encounter anymore.
