“Revenge” Season 4, episode 22 (“Plea”) is the penultimate episode of the series. This year’s season finale also marks the series ending, which is the reason why #GoodbyeRevenge has gone trending on Twitter barely a week ago. Series stars Emily VanCamp and Gabriel Mann join the fans in using the hashtag.

Spoiler alert: This update contains “Revenge” Season 4 spoilers. Read on at your own risk.

Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) kills herself in episode 20. Ben (Brian Hallisay) arrests Amanda Clarke (Emily VanCamp) in episode 21. In this weekend’s new episode, Nolan (Gabriel) and Jack (Nick Wechsler) need to help Amanda prove that Victoria set her up.

Ben is upset with Amanda for being unable to return his feelings. In the next new episode, things will continue to get personal for the cop.

“Emily wants to prove she's not guilty as Ben tries to keep her incarcerated, so she turns to Jack and Nolan for help,” reads the episode synopsis of “Revenge” Season 4, episode 22 on TV.com.

Victoria made it look like she was attacked on the night she died. By conspiring with Mason Treadwell (Roger Bart), the late Queen of Hamptons gave authorities enough evidence to arrest Amanda. David Clarke (James Tupper) was not around when the arrest took place.

Meanwhile, Charlotte Grayson (Christ B. Allen) is expected to appear in the final two episodes of “Revenge.” TVLine reported Charlotte’s “compelling” return based on teasers and spoilers from showrunner Sunil Nayar.

The “Revenge” Season 4 finale is called “Two Graves.” Madeleine Stowe has earlier spoken about Victoria’s intent to take Amanda Clarke with her in the end. Amanda, however, is not the only one for whom death could strike in the series finale. David Clarke’s life is also in danger.

Amanda’s father is stricken with cancer. He tried to hide it from his daughter, but she finds out about it in the course of investigation on Victoria’s “murder.” In this weekend’s new episode, spoiler reports say something bad happens when David visits Amanda in jail.
