After listening to Eminem feat. Rihanna's new single "The Monster," we revisited days when they collaborated for "Love the Way You Lie." It was one of their greatest hits to date. This new song, "The Monster" is upbeat unlike Eminem and Rihanna's last collaboration. The song talks about OCD, the monster within, Em's problem with fame and more.

Rihanna enters with her soulful voice and sings the intro.

"I am friends with the monster that's under my bed

Get along with the voices inside of my head

You are trying to save me, stop holding your breath

And you think I am crazy, yeah, you think I am crazy."

Next up, Eminem with his arsenal. Bam! from the first word Em means business. "I wanted the fame, but not the cover of Newsweek," he starts and sings about having the cake of fame. The upbeat number might sound peppy and happy, but it is laced with weird lyrics depicting the mental health problems.

Rihanna is superb in the intro and delivers the choruses like a queen. While Eminem rhymes in the verses with his signature style.

The beats of the songs will make you sing and dance along and play (if you can on your choice of instrument, we tried on the bass guitar and it kicks epic b**t).

"My OCD is conking me in the head

Keep knocking, nobody is home, I am sleepwalking

I am just relaying what the voice in my head's saying

Don't shoot the messenger, I am just friends with the."

These are some of the most memorable lines by Em along with "Call me crazy, but I have this vision/ One day that I'd walk amongst a regular civilian."

We are eagerly waiting to listen to "The Monster" along with the other monster-like tracks in "Marshall Mathers LP 2" and see how it fits in.

For now, we are humming the tune and rhyming the rhymes.
