Rhythm and Alps has sold out its tickets a day before it is set to kick off. The New Zealand New Year’s Eve music festival ran out of its full two-day tickets a week before, and now even the one-day tickets have been sold out as well.

And since all tickets are out, there will be no box office on site during the events on December 30 and 31. However, organisers have noted that they still have a “very LIMITED” amount of upgrades for Vodafone Vintage Club.

Around 10,000 festival-goers are expected to flock the event, with half of them camping on-site.

The festival, which takes place at the Robrosa Station in the Cardrona Valley, Wanaka, is due to start on Monday at 2pm.

The announcement is a refreshingly good news among a series of bad that plague a few music festivals in the country.

Camp A Low Hum announced earlier in December that its upcoming three-day event in February 2014 would be its last, while La De Da music festival has just lost two of its major acts, Kora and Katchafire, a few weeks before it was due to launch.
