Unapologetic!

Looks like Rihanna lived up to her album name, as the Bajan singer reportedly arrived 70 minutes late for her Diamonds World Tour in Montreal.

Her fans in Toronto were excitedly waiting for her appearance right on time, especially after a series of canceled shows in the past weeks. Unfortunately, the sexy singer was over an hour late for the show's opening, which was slated to start at 9 p.m.

Good thing Riri's fans are a patient bunch, and she proved to be worth the wait as she belted into her famous pop tunes in a variety of sexy outfits.

So why is she late?

Recently, photos of Rihanna backstage circulated on the web, showing her pre-concert rituals, which could somehow explain her tardiness in her previous show.

Shot by friend Melissa Forde, the pics revealed moments of the R&B star preparing for the concert with the help of her dancers. In one shot, Rihanna can be seen holding hands with her team, while another shows them all raising their hands to the ceiling before yelling out a rallying cry.

Meanwhile, other say that her 70-minute tardiness was quite suspicious, considering that her much-awaited 777 documentary is set to be released on May and maybe, her tardiness was just sort of a promotion (think number 7).

Rihanna 777 is a chronicle of the singer's turbulent 2012 world tour with seven stops in seven days, whilst promoting her album, Unapologetic.

Consistent to the '7' element, the film shows scenes on a Boeing 777 airplane used to transport the R&B star during her tour, together with her entourage of 256 fans and journalists.

The documentary will also feature performances and behind-the-scenes footages of the nitty-gritty of Riri's life on the road. It will be aired as a one-hour special on Fox on May 6.
