Her music has always been either pop or disco, but this time, Rihanna takes on a new tune with her new single "Stay."

It's a different Rihanna that you will see on her newest music video "Stay." Naked and soaked in a tub, the singer lets out all her inhibitions and strips bare for the video.

There's no dance moves or fancy costumes. Rihanna even appears wearing very minimal to nothing makeup. The singer adapts a less raunchy image and looks vulnerable to sing her emotional ballad.

Apart from "Take A Bow," there wasn't any slow song of hers that followed after. Even after her messy breakup with Chris Brown, the singer didn't release any song that is close to heart.

''This video is everything! Simple but emotional!" Rihanna posted on Monday via her Twitter account.

It was rumored that the song was written for Chris Brown, the man she calls the "love of my life." Well it sure is a convenient way to release a song that was written for Chris, most especially that they are now officially back together.

Many music critics think that the lyrics of the song captures the singer turbulent relationship with Chris Brown. The two didn't particularly have a fairytale like story, nor was it like that of tweens Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber. It was purely catastrophic and messy, but then for some reason, both singers can't simply stay away from each other.

Although there are a lot of people who are disagreeing about their rekindled relationship, Rihanna could care less. The two appeared loved up at the recently concluded Grammys. Many onlookers claimed that the two looked cozy even at the afterparty.

Nobody can really judge Rihanna for taking back Chris Brown, maybe she has reasons that no one knows. And maybe these reason can be heard on her latest single, "Stay."
