It has been a long and bumpy road between these two. After the highly publicized 2009 assault, Rihanna and Chris Brown's tumultuous relationship seems to have struck up again after the former couple each posted tweets about love that appeared to be directed toward the other.

In May, Rihanna and Chris Brown reconnected on "Twitter" for the first time since their infamous fight.

Recently, many bloggers have speculated that the former lovers are sending coded messages to each other through their public tweets. The Twitter mystery started when Brown posted "Love U more than u know!" on his Twitter account. Two minutes later, Rihanna responded with "I'll always love you #1love."

Is this just coincidence? Maybe, but that is hard to believe. Rihanna has already defended herself when asked why she even follows Brown on Twitter. The sexy singer has shared that she is still a fan of his and is excited for his comeback.

What exactly is going on here? Are these Twitter messages totally unrelated? Was it just a little something to get off their chest or is this their way of making something public?

So many questions are left unanswered. Yet, that is not all.

Two weeks ago Chris Brown's mother, Joyce Hawkins, who goes by the username @mombreezy on Twitter, added fuel to the fire. She shared a message of love via Twitter to an unknown female follower and it was believed to be none other than Rihanna.

"Hello Lady I Miss You and Love You!!!!!! You Know Who You Are!!!!!" said the message on Twitter by Brown's mother. Afterwards, Rihanna gave a reply. "Miss+Love u 2," the singer tweeted.

Does this mean that the former couple will start all over again and rekindle their love?
