Pop superstar Rihanna is rumored to be reuniting with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in Australia with a duet performance on-stage together next month. The controversial duo is believed to be in the works for the "Supafest Music Festival" in Brisbane. It is scheduled to follow the "Umbrella" singer's visit to Sydney in April for the premiere of her debut Hollywood film "Battleship."

Brown was infamously charged with assaulting Rihanna the night before the 2009 Grammy Awards and he was sentenced to five years probation and 1400 hours of community service. The pair recently made headlines with speculation that they might be getting back together and news the singers collaborated on Rihanna's track "Birthday Cake" and Brown's song "Turn Up The Music."

"It's a definite possibility," said one source out of the United States.

"But it won't be decided until the last minute," the source added.

There are suggestions that the duo's independent management representatives are keen for the partnership to go public outside of America. Then, that would make the country Australia a perfect opportunity for their rumored duet performance especially since their schedules are seem to be aligning.

Brown is currently headlining the "Supafest" bill alongside other superstar hip-hop acts such as P. Diddy, Missy Elliott, Lupe Fiasco, Ice Cube, Trey Songz, Ludacris and T-Pain. The touring festival will also play Melbourne and Perth. This would be the first time that the pair will perform together from the time that Brown assaulted Rihanna.

With recent rumors suggesting the pair is back on good terms with each other, it seems a duet performance in Australia might be the perfect way to announce their controversial rekindled friendship or perhaps love to the world. Fans of the singers will definitely be more than excited to watch another Rihanna and Chris Brown collaboration on-stage.
