Kanye West and Paul McCartney’s “FourFiveSeconds” collaborator Rihanna recently said it is not likely for her to join Taylor Swift’s squad. In a recent interview, she explained why she doubts if she would accept an invitation to become the latest artist to join the “Bad Blood” singer on stage.

“I don’t think I would,” Rihanna told NME when asked about joining Swift’s squad. She said she does not think it makes sense for her to join Swift on stage because their brands do not match as they are not the same.

About her choice of music, Rihanna said she cannot make a song for a particular person or demographic, and if she records a song, she has to perform it for the rest of her life. She compared a song with a tattoo, which one can never get away from.

For Rihanna, an artist cannot stand behind something he or she does not believe in. As an artist, the Barbadian singer said she can be who she is and sleep well at night knowing that there is no pressure to be anything else.

Rihanna further explained that her audience and Swift’s are not the same. In addition, she said that in her mind, she is not a role model like Swift.

During the MTV Video Music Awards 2015, the music video of Swift’s “Bad Blood” featuring Kendrick Lamar won Video of the Year. The music video features her squad members including Serayah, Gigi Hadid, Ellie Goulding, Martha Hunt, Cara Delevingne, Zendaya, Hayley Williams, Lily Aldridge, Karlie Kloss, Jessica Alba, Mariska Hargitay, Ellen Pompeo and Cindy Crawford.

Meanwhile, Swift performed at Sprint Center in Kansas City yesterday. Her sold-out concerts prompted the police to beef up their downtown force since greater rush-hour traffic into downtown is expected, KCTV5 News reports.
