Rihanna, Katy Perry may duet, tour together
Pop star Rihanna revealed that she will have a duet with Katy Perry. Rihanna also said she plans to conduct a tour with Perry.
Speaking to MTV News, Rihanna said that she and Perry are working on some tracks, while going further to say that she would love to have Katy Perry on a tour.
"We're actually working on some music together - hell yeah," said the pop star.
"I would love to tour with Katy. She's a rock star. And when I see her live, she just brings such a fun vibe, like a colourful rock star."
"She has all these props. She has candy and fruit and a blown-up ChapStick onstage, but then she's rocking out with a guitar and banging her head and swinging onstage and crowd-surfing."
It seem suspicious that Rihanna is going the extra mile to dispel rumours that she and Katy Perry had fallen out after the singer missed the latter's wedding because she was busy and far too involved in her latest projects.
Rihanna had previously told E! Online that "the only reason I couldn't make it was I was really really swamped with work."
"I've got an album coming out in two weeks, I have a lot going on, I just switched management...I needed to be close," explained Rihanna.
However, there's no animosity brewing between Perry and Rihanna, even if the latter missed Perry's wedding with comedian Russell Brand. Rihanna said that her friend Perry understood, owing to the fact that Perry herself is a pop star.
Rihanna's new album, Loud, is set to be released next week on November 10.
