This man gets it. This man - Peter Griffin gets Rihanna's sparkling dress she donned on Monday at Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards. RiRi's see-through grown created quite a stir on the internet.

The 26-year-old singer finally shared something about her controversial attire on Tuesday when she saw Peter Griffin wearing her dress.

"He gets it," wrote Rihanna and posted the picture of the cartoon.

Peter's gown looked similar to Rihanna's with a head scarf, gloves, nude-coloured underwear and of course, the pink fur.

In another tweet, she talked about her inspiration - the late singer, dancer and actress Josephine Baker.

"Happy birthday to the late Josephine Baker! You have and will continue to inspire us women for decades to come!" tweeted Rihanna with a picture comparing the duo.

On the CFDA red carpet, she shocked people in her dress created by designer Adam Selman. Apparently, the dress consisted of 230,000 Swarovski crystals.

"It's so naked," said Mel Ottenberg, Rihanna's stylist to Style.com.

"I don't know if it's shocking-I'm with her all the time, so my shock gauge is off, but I told her that I thought she was ready for this dress a while ago, and that I wasn't. I'm the prude, and I'm just catching up," added Mel.

Adam also talked to Style.com and shared that they wanted to make the dress scandalous. He also revealed that fashion is about beauty and the body of the woman is a part of it.

Mel admitted that people worked hard to complete RiRi's gown. Close to eight people worked from 8 p.m. to 3 p.m. just on the finishing touches.

According to the website, Rihanna's look was completed with a Pologeorgis pink fur stole, a ring and earrings designed by Paul Morelli and a pinky ring crafted by Jacob.

Rihanna also twerked backstage in that shinning gown.
