Phenomenal pop star Rihanna teases once again her avid fans as she poses for the recent GQ cover directed by Damien Thirst.

The pop diva poses for the British readers in an itsy-bitsy bikini bottom while she attempts to cover her chest with her bare hands. Riri adorns her head with a bunch of small snakes, possibly channeling the inner 'Medusa' in her.

Thirst directed the photoshoot and made the famous pop star from Barbados convey the mythological temptress and seductress Medusa for the mag's 25th anniversary. Rihanna tops her look with slit-like eyes locked in a dreamy gaze. Photographed by the seasoned artist Mariano Vivanco, Riri also had a humungus phython (or is that a boa constrictor?) wrapped around her neck as she poses provocatively.

She took it again to Twitter, her controversial social networking account, to announce the highly anticipated photoshoot. Late this year, she was under fire for posing a number of risqué and provocative pictures on her social networking account, prompting many fans to negatively react as the photos were deemed too racy for minors.

She was also criticized for posing with various wild and endangered animals like the famed Loris in Thailand. Not only was Riri in hot waters for her pictures but also some Thai authorities were reprimanded by its authorities for some of the pop star's incriminating pics and tweets.

The 25-year-old singer was recently spotted in a resort in Greece, after her Diamond World Tour. The controversial star also posted a photo of her successfully doing her own version of 'Twerking' in a Grecian pool. The star shall be performing next in Puerto Rico followed by her hometown Barbados before culminating her World Tour in the U.S.

While the mystical goddess Medusa is known to turn people into stones when they catch her sight. With her new photoshoot, we can't help but just gaze at the feisty star.
