Amid rumors that the controversial couple had split up after reportedly snubbing each other at an LA club and spending Valentine's Day apart, Rihanna and Chris Brown were together again in Hawaii to celebrate the 25th birthday of the R&B songstress.

Rihanna and Brown spent the whole day together and didn't want to be bothered, a source told Hollywood Life. The source even added that 25-year-old birthday girl 'cried all day' and 'had the time of her life.'

"The day was real chill, though. They ate, slept, chilled on the beach for a hot minute, and just lounged. Some of RiRi's family was there too, and everyone just chilled and had a good time. For the most part, everyone was just celebrating Rihanna," the source told Hollywood Life.

Meanwhile, RiRi shared photos of her and her Rastafari-themed birthday via Instagram, with the Turn Up the Music singer visible in almost all of the pics. One photo showed Rihanna sitting on Brown's lap inside a limousine as they cruised around the island paradise.

So what happened to the rumored engagement?

Photos of the pair holding hands while strolling along the beach had surfaced around the Web, and Rihanna was seen wearing a suspicious diamond band on her left ring finger!

It must be remembered that reports on the eve of Rihanna's birthday claimed that Brown was going to pop the question on her big day with a 10-carat ring costing $3.5 million. So does this mean that the couple is engaged?

As of now, there is no official confirmation on that yet from the two Grammy-awarded artists. But the sighting of the pair in Hawaii just proves that they are still pretty much in good terms and are back in each other's arms.
