News.au reported that Rihanna was spotted at the LA Clippers game against Oklahoma City Thunder in Los Angeles on Friday. The singer was sitted on the nearest courtside beside the president of L.A. Police Commission, Steve Soboroff.

The usually risqué-dressed singer suprised fans with her choice of clothes while cheering at the game. Rihanna was covered up in black leggings and black cropped top. Although the singer gave audiences a glimpse of her stomach, she covered it up in a large white shirt. Riri also had on a baseball cap worn backwards and wore a pair of wedge-heeled sneakers (photo).

Riri's seatmate, Steve Soboroff, took the opportunity to be seating next to the star, and asked her for a photograph. The singer obliged and willingly took pictures with him.

Although the LA Clippers lost by ten points in the fourth quarter, the singer seemed not to be concerned as she was seen happily snapping selfies with Soboroff (photo).

Steve Soboroff shared the encounter with the singer on his Twitter account. A few selfies were taken using his iPhone.

In this photo, Rihanna poses with Soboroff wearing a baller bracelet labelled LAPD.

Then she had her secretary and BFF take a picture of her with the Police Commission president, sporting the same bracelet (photo).

The purpose of these pictures were to show awareness and support for the LAPD team.

Since Soboroff had asked the singer for the photograph, it would just be wise to return the favor of letting Rihanna hold his phone while taking selfies. Bad move!

According to JRN, the "selfie moment" was shattered when in the middle of returning the phone to Soboroff, Rihanna dropped it on the floor and it cracked (see photo).

Riri has since apologized to the commission president by signing the back of the phone (see photo).

Steve Soboroff said he would auction the phone to support the LA Police Foundation (see photo) No word yet on the date of the auction.
