If Brandon Rios throws the same volume of punches like he spit curses in interviews, then Manny Pacquiao might be in trouble come Nov 24, 2013, at Cotai Arena in The Venetian Macao in Macau for the “Clash in Cotai” boxing match for the vacant WBO International welterweight championship.

In an extensive interview with Chris Robinson of hustleboss.com, Rios was blunt and honest when asked about people from the Pacquiao camp already counting him out a month before the biggest fight of his career.

“All those mother*ckers, everybody is counting me out. But at the end of the day, you know what? I like when they count me out. I’m going to show these mother*ckers, don’t ever count me out. Once you count me out, you’ve f*cked up yourself,” said the 27-year-old American in the interview.

“That drives me more, that makes me more hungry. Freddie Roach is counting me out, Pacquiao is counting me out, some of the HBO people are counting me out. Max Kellerman’s counting me out. A lot of people are counting me out. At the end of the day they’re going to bite their own words and I’m going to tell them ‘F*ck you. Don’t try to kiss my *ss now mother*ckers.”

For Rios he uses the unbelievers’ opinions as his main motivation.

“You want to know what motivates me? The mother*ckers out there. The critics. Everybody that’s counting me out already. Before the fight, they’re already counting me out. Before the fight was made, they count me out. That’s b*llshit to me. That makes my motivation go up even higher and makes me train even harder. I want to prove everybody wrong and I want to show the world. I’m nobody’s tune-up fight. I’m a warrior. I come to fight and I lay it all in the ring,” he added in the same interview.

Nicknamed "Bam Bam", Rios has a record of 31-1-1 (23 KO) in 33 fights since he turned pro in 2004. The 34-year-old Pacquiao, meanwhile, carries a 54-5-2 (38 KO) record going into the match. The Filipino has been fighting in the pro level since 1995.

Rios is coming off a loss via unanimous decision to Mike Alvarado on March 30, 2013. Pacquiao is raring to get back in the win column after losing back-to-back fights with Juan Manuel Marquez via knockout on Dec 8, 2012 and Timothy Bradley via split decision on June 9, 2012.
