RIP Cory Monteith: Lea Michele, Glee Cast Shocked, Grieving; Black Twitterverse over Tragedy [SHOUT-OUTS]
Cory Monteith, 31, was found dead in a Vancouver hotel July 13, the same day he was scheduled to check out. The young Glee actor had just been out of rehab and even tweeting just hours after his death. A rep of his girlfriend Lea Michele had requested privacy for the actress, hinting the actress has not been able to issue a statement. The cause of death has not been officially confirmed, but authorities have ruled out foul play.

There were rumours that Cory Monteith and Lea Michele had been engaged. She was very supportive of Cory when he went into rehab in April.
"We ask that everyone kindly respect Lea's privacy during this devastating time," Lea's rep had earlier told reporters.

Glee Season 5 was supposed to star Cory Monteith again, after the actor missed the final episodes of the previous season due to his stint in rehab. His character, Finn, had been shipped as 'Finchel' by fans supporting him and his real-life girlfriend Lea Michele, who plays Rachel Berry.

Cory dead at 31 is one of the saddest things in the history of entertainment industry. The actor had been reportedly determined to start over. He was widely supported by fans and loved ones when he decided to check in to rehab in April.
