What if pop stars British Robbie Williams and Australian Kylie Minogue hooked up? That question will never get answered as singer Robbie Williams confessed blowing up his chances with Minogue.

Williams might be married now, but he can't help but look back to year 2000 when he and Kylie collaborated in the duet Kids. In William's new book, You Know Me, the British singer confessed that he blew up his chances with Minogue after he laughed upon seeing Minogue undressing for the final scene.

Robbie Williams admitted that he was reduced to "a bit of teenage boy" seeing Kylie Minogue undress. In the book, he revealed that he had fancied Minogue since her Neighbours day (Minogue previously starred in this Australian soap opera.)

"I couldn't figure out why my banter wouldn't work," he said. Williams said he drunk some liqueur, to prep himself up for the final scene but it did not go well as intended.

Apparently, he wasn't told that Minogue will be taking off her robe, wearing nothing but a G-string.

"I just burst out laughing. Which I don't think went down well with Kylie," Williams said.

According to the singer's website, You Know Me is written by the singer and Chris Heath. The book "takes a celebratory trip down memory lane as Robbie [Williams] opens up his personal photo collection from the past 20 years."
