The 12th Lavazza Italian Film Festival this year is set to continue Australia's fascination to Italian language and culture.

One of the films feature veteran actor Robert De Niro and alluring Monica Bellucci in the Italian movie "Ages of Love," which is directed by Giovanni Veronesi.

Once again, Palace cinemas bring you a magical experience that only Italian films can give you.

The Palace Cinema Como Opening Night Gala happened last Sept. 14 and featured prime Italian film "Welcome to the South".

Palace cinema boasts the finest collection of Italian films that narrate Italian culture, issues and concerns. Some of the features are from the recent Venice, Rome and Cannes International Film Festivals. Moreover, 12 films are from the famous Cinecitta Studios in Rome.

Some of the top picks are "John Turturro's Passione," "Basilicata Coast to Coast," "Escort in Love," and "We Have A Pope".

Other participating movie houses that will show some of the films are: Kino Cinemas, Palace Westgarth, Palace Cinema Como, Palace Brighton Bay, Palace Balwyn.
