It looks like Jay Z isn't too powerful as he seems like when he comes face to face with an upset Robert De Niro.

Jay Z who? It must be Robert De Niro's reaction when the rapper approached him during a dinner at Leonardo DiCaprio's birthday party in New York. But despite Jay Z's attempt in starting a friendly conversation, it seems like Robert De Niro can't hold in his fumes.

The legendary actor apparently scolded Jay Z for failing to return his calls to the rapper. De Niro said that he called Jay Z for six times and he did not even receive a call back from him.

According to sources, the 69-year-old brilliant actor was sitting at a table for the Leo's upscale birthday bash when Jay Z approached him to come say "hello." But then the "Raging Bull" actor was in no mood to be friendly.

A New York Post insider overheard the conversation that happened between De Niro and Jay Z. The reporter said that De Niro was upset at Jay Z for failing to follow through with the song that they both agreed to record for the Tribeca Film Festival.

Robert was said to have called Jay Z in several occasions but the rapper failed to return the call. A move that the veteran actor labeled as "rude."

"Bob wasn't in any mood to make polite conversation. He told Jay that if somebody calls you six times, you call them back. It doesn't matter who you are, that is just rude," the insider reports.

It looks like all the fame and money could not spare Jay Z from the humiliation since Robert reportedly continued to scold the rapper even though they were in front of Martin Scorsese, Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx. The source added that not even Beyonce's charm worked even after she stepped in to calm the situation.
