Hollywood actor Robert de Niro is said to be staying at the Yarra Valley in Victoria, Australia where his current project, which started its production in May 13, is currently set.

De Niro stars in a big-budget action thriller and will play as the "Hunter", alongside actors Clive Owen, Jason Statham and Ben Mendelsohn.

Also in the movie are Yvonne Strahovski from I Love You Too, Firass Dirani who is Cleo's Bachelor of the Year, and Dominic Purcell of Prison Break.

The Killer Elite, a film a about a team of former British special forces, already started its shooting in Britain and Chasman and will also shoot in some areas in Melbourne and in regional Victoria.

Its one-sentence plot reads: "A former Navy Seal is forced out of retirement in order to save his friend."

According to a synopsis which was originally featured on The Daily Mail, the movie is based on the novel "The Feathermen" by Ranulph Fiennes.

The Killer Elite will be directed by Gary McKendry and will be released in the US in 2011.
