Reports claimed that Robert Pattinson agreed to join the "Breaking Dawn Part 2" premiere after news that he and ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart will not appear in the promo tour of the film.

Early this week, IBTimes reported that ex-couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will not attend the promo tours for the last Twilight in which they play the parents of their half vampire, half human daughter, Reneesmee.

In recent film news, according to "Yahoo News" this Thursday, Robert Pattinson has officially confirmed that he will reunite with ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart for the premiere of the last film in the epic vampire franchise, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2."

The report said that the pair will attend the red carpet event and will act professional for their expectant fans. The British actor seemed to have spoken to the "Twilight" movie producers that their joint appearance will be good for both the film and to maintain Kristen Stewart's image.

According to a source of The Sun, "He's told the movie heads that he will walk the red carpet [with Kristen] to save her from any embarrassment, any female fans booing her, and for the 'Twilight' fans ... He's being professional, taking the higher moral ground."

However, there is no update yet if the couple will make an appearance in the fan conventions scheduled in the coming weeks.

This news received mixed reactions from Twihards. Some thought that Rob Pattinson is only doing it to save the face of Kristen Stewart in case angered fans will attack her with hurtful words during the premiere.

However, it seemed that it appeased some of the disappointed fans who thought they will not be able to see the couple together in the promotional gigs of "Breaking Dawn Part 2." Many fans are at awe of Rob's sincerity and him being a gentleman after what happened between him and Kristen.

"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" will hit the theaters on November 16.
