Robert Pattinson Credits The Women In His Life For His Sensitive Nature [PHOTOS]
In a new book that features the three famous young stars of the successful "Twilight Saga," the 26-year-old Robert Pattinson, who portrays heartthrob vampire Edward Cullen, admitted that his extraordinary sensitivity could be due to his upbringing. The British actor shared in the "Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner - In Their Own Words" book by Talia Soghomonian that he credits the women in his life for his extra sensitive nature.
"I guess I'm like relatively sensitive," Pattinson admitted. "Also, I had two older sisters so I grew up with lots of girls and so I guess I kind of have a different mentality cause of that. And I never really played any team sports or anything, so I guess all those things add up to that," the young actor further shared.
Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson has laughed off the speculations that he could portray the male lead role Christian Grey in the movie adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey" by author E.L. James. "I think the author has written me out of it. I saw some interview recently, and they went 'Oh, it could never be him.' And I'm like: 'Hey, I'm going to make you pay for that.' It's funny seeing all these other actors so openly vying for it. I've never seen that happen before. It's so strange," Pattinson shared.
"I haven't read the whole thing. I read bits of it, there's a book called Fifty Sheds of Grey. Have you seen that book? That's amazing, just a picture book of fifty grey sheds, and it's literally on the New York Times Best Seller list. People have got the wrong read," the actor added.
Recently, the "Twilight" actor is reported to be reconciled with co-star and estranged girlfriend Kristen Stewart after their publicized break up because of the 22-year-old Stewart's affair with her married "Snow White and The Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders. So far, Robert Pattinson is still refusing to discuss the cheating scandal. Well, the actor might still be sensitive about the issue and prefers to just keep mum about it.
