Robert Pattinson has all the reasons to want to reach out to his friend and former co-star Reese Witherspoon as the actress got embroiled in a disorderly conduct arrest last week. Reese lent Rob a shoulder to cry on when he was in love troubles with Kristen and it is just fitting to pay her the same respects. Unfortunately, Kristen is reportedly putting a leash on Rob?

Reese had welcomed Robert in her Texas home when the Twilight hunk went on hibernation to think of his next move following the controversial and high-profile summer fling his true love, Kristen, had got herself into with a Hollywood director.

And with troubles coming Reese’s way, Robert thinks that it is but proper to show her the same courtesy as she did for him barely a year ago.

“Rob has heard about and is aware of Reese’s situation and feels very bad that she got in trouble but will not reach out to her about it. As her friend, the main thing on his mind is that he is happy that nobody was hurt,” a source was quoted by HollywoodLife.com in a recent exclusive interview.

The news of Reese getting into trouble with authori`ties when her husband was charged with and arrested for Drinking Under the Influence (DUI) exploded on the web world and rocked the entertainment industry at about the same time Robert was jetting off from Los Angeles over the weekend.

While Robert was buying his ticket out of LA, Reese was fighting her way out of jail over the disorderly conduct the authorities slapped her with. Reese has since apologized for the turmoil the incident had brought her and husband Jim Toth and her family and friends.
“Out of respect for the ongoing legal situation, I cannot comment on everything that is being reported right now. But I do want to say I clearly had one drink too many and I am deeply embarrassed about the things I said. It was definitely a scary situation and I was frightened for my husband, but that was no excuse. I was disrespectful to the officer who was just doing his job. I have nothing but respect for the police and I am very sorry for my behavior,” Reese said in a statement following the incident.

Meanwhile, it looks like Kristen is “allegedly” getting in between Robert’s initiatives to offer Reese some comfort over what could be the lowest point in Reese’s life. Kristen is reportedly not allowing Robert to get in touch with his former co-star? Without any statement to back up its claims and no detailed discussion of Kristen’s apparent warnings to Rob, CelebLaundry.com maintained that Kristen is stopping Rob from making any comforting moves for Reese. CelebLaundry even failed to mention about its claims on the storyline itself. Do you think Kristen would really forbid Rob from being a nice, gentlemanly that he is?
