The Robsten Romance remains apart as the rumoured reunion of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart has been debunked over the weekend. Following reports on June 14 that Robert and Kristen were spotted getting cozy and holding hands, a source close to Kristen denied Robsten reunion and claimed that they are very much on their own - - separately.

Robert and Kristen allegedly got back together as the two were reported holding hands at the Echo Park, California, before weekend. This report had millions of Twi-hards pulse racing in hopes that the much awaited and much wanted reunion was in the offing.

But to the chagrin of their tween fans and those hoping for a real Hollywood romance, Robert and Kristen are still apart and they are barely speaking to each other, said recent reports.

A source who talked to HollywoodLife.com noted that this twihards dream is unlikely to happen - - at least not just yet.

“It sounds like a dream come true, especially for Kristen,” a source from Kristrn’s camp said in an interview by the HollywoodLife.com. adding, “but the reports that Rob and Kristen are back together are simply not true.”

The same source admitted, however, that Kristen just like before their first split in July last year, would love to be with Rob. But the actress apparently has great things going for her in terms of work and reigniting romance with her longtime boyfriend may not be on her cards right now.

“Kristen would love to be reunited with Rob, but the fact is she is busy with her upcoming movie and as far as Rob is concerned, he’s doing his own thing,” the source was quoted as revealing to HollywoodLife.com.

The source added, “Kristen only wants the best for Rob. Maybe time apart will be just what they need, but seeing each other in person right now would be too painful for them.”

The news came out at about the same time Rob was at the press junket for his Dior campaign late last week. Echo Park was half an hour away from the Soho House, West Hollywood on June 11. Dior Homme Fragranace announced Robert as its official Ambassador for its latest ad campaign and it was reported that Rob had Kristen moment before joining the Dior officials and staff and other members of the press at the conference.

Reports continue to emerge describing Robert leaning on Katy Perry since the split. The British hunk was recently spotted at the Bjork concert but the rumoured friends went discreet and away from the army of papparazis. Kristen had also been reported not liking one bit the growing friendship between Rob and Katy and she apparently feels betrayed by the "Fireworks" singer.

With the update on Robsten Reunion, it looks like millions of fans are still awaiting if indeed the former lovers will get back together, ever. It was even reported to have come to an ugly turn as they battle for legal custody of their dogs.
