The Hollywood couple was in Brazil as part of their shooting for the two-part finale The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn directed by Bill Condon.

The filming for Robert Pattinson's and Kristen Stewart's honeymoon sequence took place in the Taquari area, near an unidentified waterfall and in Saco do Mamanguá beach where a mansion is located.

Paraty, small colonial town south of Rio de Janeiro, is reportedly the setting for Isle Esme, the island given to Edward Cullen and Bella Swan upon their marriage in Breaking Dawn by Esme, the mother-figure in Edward Cullen's coven, which Robert Pattinson's character named after her.
