The chances for the reunion of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are still so bleak despite the clamor and silent cries for reconciliation by million of tween fans and those who have not planned to fall in love with the Twilight lovers as their immortal love blossomed through the years, but have fallen in to the web of Robsten Romance anyway. The chances for them to get back together are very slim, if not at all together. This very little hope could be lost “eternally” as the Twilight series marked the end of its journey.

Iconic Couple
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were brought together in a sci-fi, fantasy romance in Twilight franchise. Their chemistry, described as unfathomable to many, have created “a movie inside a movie.” There was no one in Hollywood or any actor around the world could have immortalised the characters of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan than Robert and Kristen.

The couple were too perfect and they teamed up on Twilight “it became bigger than anyone could imagine.”

The lovers’ co-star in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, Erik Odom described them as too perfect and when they teamed up on the franchise, “they became bigger than anyone could imagine.”

"The filmmakers really got it right with Kristen and Rob,” Erik Odom was quoted as saying when interviewed by The Oakland Press, as noted by IBTimes-AU report.

He added, “There's been such an overlap of how iconic the characters are, but also how iconic Kristen and Rob are."

Even Rob and Kristen were not ready for it. Two years after they auditioned for the roles, Kristen finally admitted there was something romantic going on between her and the British hunk. They were then spotted together holding hands when Kristen visited Rob’s folks in London. Everyone knew they finally fell in love and fans have continued to fall in love with them since then and even after their split - - this year and in summer last year.

Their first split resulted from Kristen’s summer fling with Rupert Sanders. Rob left Kristen for the first time in July after the devastating photos of Kristen in the arms of the film director half her age.

Twilight brought them back together.

On the eve of the premiere of the last installment of the Twilight franchise, Rob was seen getting cozy with Kristen in October 2012. Premieres for Breaking Dawn Part begin in November 2012. They had been inseparable since then until their second fall out on the eve of Rob’s birthday this year.

Rob moved out again. Some fans remain hopeful. The Robsten Romance have been kept alive not just by the Twi-hards but by others who have taken the ride with the celebrity couple in their journey for almost four years together.

This time, there’s no turning back. Twilight had ended, there’s no reason to keep them together. For a fan of the couple, a “charade.”

“It's a terrible idea. I (an older fan) would like to see both of them get on with their lives,” Nadina Johnson, a fan of the couple said when asked by IBTimes-AU if they should get back together.

Johnson noted, “We are done with the charade.”

Lovers in Paper?
In early May, IBTimes-AU wrote an article of an alleged contract signed by Robert to stay with Kristen. The Robsten Romance an alleged hoax. While this may break the hearts of millions of Twihards who have continued to be the solid fanbase who brought Robert and Kristen to international stardom, the report cited another in reference to a document that was made available on May 1. It provided details of the provisions agreed to by the “Twilight lovers” describing how they adhere, in writing, to the demands of the film’s top honchos that they “pretend” to be just like any other celebrity couple in Hollywood - - loved up and truly in to each other as they make public appearances like one.

“Rob’s contract does obligate him to make public appearances with her, and he is not going to be the one to break their contract. That's why you still see pictures of them on 'dates'..." Hollyscoop said, quoting a report by the Examiner.

Fear of Failure to Get Out of their Twilight Roles
While both Robert and Kristen have proven in the last couple of years, that there is life after Twilight, their roles in the fantasy romance would always haunt them and would continue to be used to compare their performances as actors.

There is always Twilight to go back to, for many. Fans had seen Kristen performed well in Welcome to the Rileys, On the Road and Runaways. Robert for his part would always have Cosmopolis as ace up his sleeve. The actor received good reviews in his portrayal of a 28-year-old billionaire. And while his film The Rover had just finished its location shoot in Australia, the actor had already been getting positive feedback from the stills released as early promotional materials.

"Usually they would have a Twilight film to bring them back together," a source was quoted as telling in the latest report by Entertainmentwise.com.

But now, there is none. Both have been hard working. Both have upcoming film projects. Both are moving on. Or are they?
