As if trying to lift the “relationship troubles” suffered by real-life couple, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, novelist Stepheni Meyer has admitted blaming herself on the impact made by her bestseller -turned-into hit films for the Twilight series to Robsten “tragic romance.”

Speaking with UK’s The Times to promote her upcoming book that was also adapted into film, The Host, Meyer noted that the relationship of the celebrity couple have been under media’s public scrutiny because of the characters Edward Cullen and Bella Swan, whom she created in her book.

"Here's the thing: there are some actors who are looking to be world famous, to be that household name, and although they might discover that there are a lot of negative things involved in that, it's what they want," Meyer tells U.K.'s The Times, according to The Huffington Post.

Meyer pointed out that Robert and Kristen are not any ordinary spotlight-seeking celebrity couple in Hollywood.

"But that doesn't apply to Kristen and Rob," she continues, "That's what makes it kind of ironic and tragic.''

The pair’s love for privacy is what makes it all worst when Meyer undersocred that Robert and Kristen "don't enjoy the parts [of fame] that other people would. And I totally get that, because it would not be my thing either."

Meyer confessed however, that the Twilight franchise when made into the popular vampire romance film, had given her insurmountable peace and into a place unheard of.

"At the same time -- and this is where the guilt comes from -- it's created this nice, peaceful place for me,” Meyer said.

She was quick to clarify that this is where “guilt comes from.” Robert and Kristen she emphasized, had taken all the brunt that could have been thrown at her.

Meyer noted, “They took all of my heat, which I feel bad about."

The 39-year-old author of the popular book that had been adapted into hit movies, ‘Twilight,’ hailed from Hartford, Connecticut. The American novelist and producer, wrote the popular film as a wife of a Mormon with three children while cooking and in between naps of her kids. The book, which had earned her $27 million, had made Robert and Kristen one of the most popular and highest-earning celebrities in Hollywood and made them household names around the globe.
