Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart may have left Brazil to avoid anymore embarassment from the Brazillian police, after the two were caught "getting sexy" on the beach.

Earlier this week, Pattinson and Stewart flew out of Brazil because according to original reports, their honeymoon sequence in the Twilight Saga film Breaking Dawn Part 1 has already wrapped up. But there might be another story behind Pattinson's and Stewart's jetting out of Brazil.

A source told UK tabloid Daily Star: "The young lovers were getting sexy like any other couple would on the beach at night, but police sent them packing with a stern verbal slapping."

"It's obviously hard for them to go anywhere alone. I think they were just trying to grab some romantic time, but unfortunately for them they attracted attention almost immediately.

However, the same source did not say that this was the reason why Robert and Kristen left Brazil. It is more likely that the two headed back to the United States because their honeymoon sequence for Twilight was already finished.

"The police said they were more concerned about Robert and Kristen causing a security alert than them getting hot and heavy," said the source.

"They were laughing about it afterward, but they both looked really embarrassed. It was quite sweet to see."

The Hollywood couple was in Brazil as part of their shooting for the two-part finale The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn directed by Bill Condon.

The filming for Robert Pattinson's and Kristen Stewart's honeymoon sequence took place in the Taquari area, near an unidentified waterfall and in Saco do Mamanguá beach, which is also likely the scene of Pattinson's and Kristen's encounter with the police. Tweet
