Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart romance has lost all the possibitiles of reconcilation. The buzz is that Pattinson is all set to quit his career in Hollywood and this will bring the ultimate distance between the ex-lovers.

Reports are swirling that R-Patz is tired of being in the limelight and he does not want to be famous anymore. Apparently, "The Twilight" star is "tired of media scrutinizing his life."

According to sources, Pattinson does not want all the media rage and the attention he is getting from his fans.

"The cost of fame is the thing he and Kristen used to complain about all day and that hasn't changed at all for him," Pattinson's friend explained, as reported by Radar Online.

Robert Pattinson is reportedly looking at a whole new approach in his life and planning to attend theatre to learn the nuances of filmmaking behind the camera.

"Rob's been talking to a lot of independent filmmakers, and the last thing he wants to do is act in another blockbuster. He would like to direct a movie one day," added the source further as reported by the Web site.

After doing "Twilight," both K-Stew and Robert Pattinson made a huge fan base and their relationship was being constantly talked about. This also led to a lot of media pressure between the couple. The couple broke -up after Kristen Stewart was caught kissing Rupert Sanders in the public.

"Rob really can't stand being famous, even though he loves his job," admitted the friend, adding, "I'm sure all the hell he went through with Kristen was the final straw for him as far as fame is concerned."

Pattinson and Stewart have tried to rekindle their romance many times. Last year in December, the couple was also seen spending Halloween together. However, for unknown reasons things did not work out between the two.

Currently, Stewart is busy working on "Still Alice" and Pattinson has shifted his focus to independent films.
