On the eve of the DVD release of the finale of the Twilight series, the film has earned big wins for Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson - - ‘best on screen kiss’ and ‘best on screen couple.’

Following an even bigger wins (or loss) at the 33th Razzie Awards on February 24 where they got seven of ten “Worst Awards” for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, the twilight couple has earned awards for the hit, fantasy film.

The Empire Cinemas Alternative Movie Awards gave the Twilight lovebirds the ‘best on screen kiss’ and ‘best on screen couple’ awards for their roles in the final installment of the Twilight Saga.

OMG Yahoo – U.K noted that the award is a welcome treat for the film and the Twi-lovers having been mauled at the Razzies and having been at the center of yet another break-up storm brewing around them.

As earlier reported by IBTimes-AU, the couple was asked to keep mum about the split - - at least, until the release of the Breaking Dawn finale.

“Rob & Kristen were asked to not announce a break-up or any relationship trouble until the DVD has been out for a few weeks and everything has sold,” an insider was quoted as saying by the HollywoodLife.com. Read IBTimes-AU full report here.

OMG!Yahoo-UK also quoted an insider who claimed that the delay of the announcement will do the DVD-release of the film.

“Since the first couple weeks are the times when the DVD will sell like wildfire. The more DVD’s sold, the more money for them. So they are abiding by the request,” the insider said.

The Twilight couple has been living in two different worlds for weeks now. Robert Pattinson has been busy filming for The Rover since January 31 but he flew Down Under few days before production began. It is expected to run for seven weeks.

Kristen for the meantime is counting “every minute of [her love’s] return. The actress has reportedly been very depressed after the Oscars following Rob’s failure to phone her or even send her text messages before and after her glamorous appearance at The Oscars (2013).

The actress was seen limping her way at the 85th Academy Awards to present with Daniel Radcliffe the best production design won by Lincoln.

Rumors that Robert and Kristen will get reunited for the DVD release, stormed the web this week. But to the dismay of millions of Twi-hards. They only got reunited ‘on-screen’ after winning the ‘best on-screen kiss’ and ‘best on-screen couple’ awards at The Empire Awards.
