Robert Pattinson like Leonardo DiCaprio in 'Titanic,' says Reese Witherspoon
Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon (Walk The Line, Legally Blonde) compared Twilight star Robert Pattinson to Leonardo diCaprio in Titanic. Witherspoon stars in Water for Elephants with Pattinson.
"The only thing I can compare it to is when Leo was in Titanic," Witherspoon told MTV News. "It was that kind of fervor about a person. The women lining up outside the set-it was just unbelievable-till 5 o'clock in the morning waiting to just glimpse him."
"He is extraordinarily attractive. I'm not gonna lie," she admitted.
Robert Pattinson is one of the hottest Hollywood heartthrobs today after shooting to global fame in the smash hit movie Twilight, the first film in the Twilight Saga. The franchise is credited to having started the vampire trend in Hollywood which is currently on the roll with vampire series True Blood and Vampire Diaries. Similarly, DiCaprio solidified his A-list stature when he starred in the James Cameron film Titanic where he plays a star-crossed lovers along with British actress Kate Winslet.
"That's the thing that's so funny. He's not really this bad boy; he's just a great guy and really worked hard on Water for Elephants. He really worked long hours, long days. He looks totally different in the movie," said Witherspoon.
Pattinson and Witherspoon will next be seen in Water for Elephants to be released on April 15th next year. The film is based on Sara Gruen's novel of the same title and is directed by Francis Lawrence.
In the movie, Robert Pattinson plays Jacob Jankowski a veterinary student thrown to circus life in the time of the Great Depression. Reese Witherspoon plays Marlena, an equestarian and wife of animal trainer August, played Inglorious Basterd's Christoph Waltz.
