Robert Pattinson: Life Post-Cheating Girlfriend, Top 5 Reasons to Move On
Robert Pattinson has been understandably quiet since (former?) girlfriend Kristen Stewart got embroiled in a controversy for cheating on him. Stewart issued a public apology saying she loves him, but obviously it was not going to repair everything at once.
Pattinson left their LA mansion immediately after Us magazine released its story on Stewart's fling with "Snow White" married director, Rupert Sanders.
Speaking to Us magazine, a source said Rob is "really depressed. He doesn't know what to do. He doesn't know if he should forgive her or not." The same magazine spoke to a source who said Stewart is "very angry at herself. She's really not blaming anyone but herself."
Speaking to People.com, another unnamed source said, "Rob just isn't going to be able to get past the cheating - one time or not."
There are rumours that indicate Pattinson has asked Stewart to move out of their LA home, and she did leave on Sunday.
Is Pattinson moving on? Here are five reasons why he should:
1. Can't forget, can't forgive. They have been in the spotlight as a couple since the "Twilight" film saga began. The world witnessed their story, the world saw photos of the "momentary indiscretion." And so the world will always remind them of the past. How could forgiveness come easily in their situation?
2. Small industry. Kristen Stewart stars in a film without him, and the next thing he knew, she was out on a fling with her married director. How could he be at peace the next time she does a movie?
3. Partner has some growing up to do. Rob is clearly the mature, do-the-right-thing kind of guy. He was even going to propose in a matter of weeks, according to reports. But he was with someone who has yet to really know herself and how to look at her relationships.
4. Breathe. It was not a disagreement over which furniture to buy. Trust was broken, and it would be understandable if it is never pieced together again. Rob should take some time to breathe and heal. If all goes well and after some time, both of them could realize they are ready to start over.
5. Focus on career. Robert Pattinson has yet to fully show his potential as an actor. He should bask in the glory of the vampire chapter, but take on better roles and more challenging projects when it is all over. If he focused on work, he might even heal faster.
