Robert Pattinson, Reese Witherspoon look intense in new 'Water For Elephants' trailer
Twilight star Robert Pattinson looks very attracted to Reese Witherspoon in the new trailer released for his film Water for Elephants. Pattinson co-stars with Witherspoon and Inglorious Basterd''s Christopher Waltz in the movie.
Water for Elephants follows veterinary school student Jacob Jankowski, played by Pattinson, during the Great Depression. He meets and falls in love with Witherspoon's Marlena, an equestarian in a circus. Jacob and Marlena find beauty amidst the circus world and come together through their shared compassion for a special elephant. They discover lifelong love against all odds and the wrath of Waltz' August, the charismatic and dangerous husband of Marlena.
Witherspoon had earlier compared Pattinson to a young Leonardo DiCaprio in James Cameron's Titanic. According to her, Pattinson is "extraodinarly attractive."
"The only thing I can compare it to is when Leo was in Titanic," Witherspoon told MTV News.
"It was that kind of fervor about a person. The women lining up outside the set-it was just unbelievable-till 5 o'clock in the morning waiting to just glimpse him."
Water for Elephants is based on the eponymous bestseller. It is set to hit theaters on April 15, 2011! Watch the trailer for Robert Pattinson's latest film below:
