Former Disney Channel star Shia LaBeouf became a hot topic of casting conversation for the role of Christian Grey in the upcoming "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie. While it sounds like a very interesting choice, will Shia LaBeouf be chosen by to portray the much coveted male lead character?

According to reports, even "Twilight" actor Robert Pattinson recently said some positive words about Shia LaBeouf as a potential casting choice in the much anticipated movie adaptation of the hit erotic novel by author E.L. James. Pattinson claimed that LaBeouf has what it takes to portray Christian Grey in the film through his experiences with nude scenes on the big screen. Also, LaBeouf appears to be willing to do anything in order to help in giving justice to portraying a role.

It is true that Shia LaBeouf may actually have more experience than the other actors given not that LaBeouf is the male lead in his next movie "Nymphomaniac" which shows LaBeouf going from the child star to the explicit movie actor in this Lars von Trier film. Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson once again showed his support for Shia LaBeouf's acting skills.

"I love Lars' films. I think he's great. It's bold and brave. Shia did that nude scene video already and would do anything for a part," Pattinson said.

On the other hand, the 26-year old "Transformers" star said in an interview that he was already done with studio movies for a time.

According to a source, it is now unknown if LaBeouf will accept the role of Christian Grey if he was ever offered the part since there are new reports of a sudden surge of support for LaBeouf in landing the lead role from certain female fans. Will Shia LaBeouf be the perfect Christian Grey in the upcoming "Fifty Shades of Grey" film or should the talented young actor focus on other projects?
