Robert Pattinson VS Daniel Radcliffe: Who's Winning?
Fans almost everywhere around the world are just about ready to rip each other's throats when it comes to Robert Pattinson versus Daniel Radcliffe. Though both actors are quite talented and both very much good-looking in different aspects, the world still want to know: who's winning the battle?
A few Pattinson fans might not have recognized him as Cedric Diggory in the world renowned franchise, "Harry Potter", where Daniel was also a main lead for ten years.
However, their film ventures don't end there. Before Daniel became the boy who lived he was thrust in the year 2001 as the son of Pierce Brosnan in "The Tailor of Panama." Robert on the other hand made it to the big screen in 2005 when he became part of "Harry potter and the Goblet of Fire."
In 2007, Daniel ventured outside his Potter role and became part of the film, "December Boys." Robert on the other hand released a film in 2008, "Little Ashes", where he had to don a black-dye job plus a Salvador Dali-like mustache. Both films managed to pull in a little dough as "December Boys" rolled in the money domestically while "Little Ashes" rolled in money internationally.
Pattinson one-upped Radcliffe when he came out in the drama film, "Remember Me" in 2010. Robert Pattinson rolled in the dough and managed to turn a $16 million dollar film to a $56 million dollar movie.
While Daniel was a bit busy with his "Harry Potter" films making a lot more money than Pattinson, Robert on the other hand started "Twilight" in 2010 and "Water for Elephants" in 2011.
With the wizard franchise at its end, Daniel has now ventured into more mature and darker roles. His latest and first ever post-Potter film, "The Woman in Black" nearly managed to take the number one spot in the box-office campaign though $21 million dollars in its first week is no laughing matter.
Pattinson on the other hand is still yet to release another "Twilight" film and the much awaited "Bel Ami."
It's been a matter of debate over a lot of fans and even on social networking sites but the fact remains that both actors are talented in different ways. Though a few hardcore Potter fans would say Daniel is winning in the race for Hollywood's most talented, "Twilight" fans would also be screaming the exact same thing.
One thing is certain, the winner is inconclusive while both stars are still at their prime plus who would care who wins? As long as they're making awesome movies to keep everyone entertained, that would be the most vital idea.
