Is Max Irons the new Robert Pattinson? The star of Stephenie Meyer’s The Host has been making noises in Hollywood recently and he has been hailed as the new Robert Pattinson. Could he be the next Robert Pattinson?

Not if you ask Max himself: 'I'm no Robert Pattinson.'

The Host start reiterated that Rob’s fame is too scary that he’d rather not be the next big thing. Does Max have what it takes to be Robert?

Max is the son of one of Hollywood’s and UK’s great actor, Jeremy Irons. The newbie actor indeed has some ways to make it big in Hollywood. Robert has had his mom, Clare Pattinson, a low-key talent scout to think of for his now ultra superstardom which began as a “shy, timid” young underwear model. For Max, he has been talking acting and films and movies with Dad as he was growing up. Chances are, if Max does it right and with big efforts and hardwork, he can get away from his Dad’s shadow and he can make a name for himself, even bigger than Robert Pattinson.

Relatively new in Hollywood, but Max Irons has been “racking up countless of comparisons” to Kristen Stewart’s British beau. His “boyish looks and sparkling blue eyes” have caught the attention of many - - critics and fans alike - - and he has no doubt could make it big in Hollywood when he plays his cards right.

But Max insisted he doesn’t want the fame enjoyed (or suffered) by Robert. He thinks “Rob’s fame is scary” and he didn’t want to fill in a dreading big shoes as he makes his way in the entertainment industry.

Max stars in another film adaptation based on the book written by Stephenie Meyer, the novelist who made Robert and Kristen famous for their roles as Edward Cullen and Bella Swan in the Twilight series. Max wasn’t afraid to admit any common denomination for Robert’s Twilight series and The Host which hits theaters this month of March. He said: "It's in the same vein as Twilight," he told the womens magazine, according to entertainmentwise.com.
