Robert Pattinson worries about unemployment post-Twilight Saga
Robert Pattinson loves to take time to appear on smaller independent films but he worries if he does, he may find himself unemployed for a decade.
Movies featuring Robert Pattinson have been largely mainstream. His first big break onscreen was when he bagged the role of the handsome Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire. Pattinson shot to global fame when he starred in Twilight Saga films as the vampire Edward Cullen.
"You can say I only do small movies, but then there is a chance you might not be employed for ten years," Pattinson told OK Magazine.
However, with Twilight Saga wrapping up with Breaking Dawn, everyone is asking what's next for the Hollywood heartthrob.
Pattinson's real-and-reel partner Kristen Stewart has sinced starred in independent films. She was previously seen as a mistress in Adventureland, which was shot prior to her Twilight films, and is now making the rounds for her new film Welcome to the Rileys, where she plays a prostitute. Stewart also co-starred opposite Dakota Fanning in the upcoming On The Road.
Robert Pattinson is not far behind when it comes to branching out from Twilight. He is set to be next seen on Water for Elephants opposite Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon, and just signed a contract to star in Dark Arc with Harry Potter star Emma Watson in the female lead.
