Robert Pattinson's Edward Cullen is not popular enough to make it to the Top Ten of most favourite Vampires of all time.

Stephenie Meyer's creation figured only at number 14 on the list, beaten by even cartoon character Count Duckula which was up at number 9 on the list.

Edward Cullen is played by Robert Pattinson in the Twilight series.

All three films were box office hits and Meyer's four novels are one of the best selling books. Yet, all of these seem not enough for Cullen to be everyone's favorite vampire.

The survey was commissioned by leading sci-fi and fantasy magazine SFX. Over 8,000 fans took part in the www.sfx.co.uk website survey as part of the magazine's 200th issue celebrations.

Topping the list was Dracula. The Transylvanian count was memorably played by Christoper Lee in numerous Hammer films and was revived by Gary Oldman in 1992 with the movie Bram Stoker's Dracula.
