Seattle Mariners slugger Robinson Cano said he made his New York exit in a good way during his interview on "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon on Monday.

Cano, who left the Yankees to sign a 10-year, $240 million contract, is back in the Big Apple to start the Mariners' series with the Pinstripes on Tuesday. However, before his Yankees Stadium appearance, Cano stressed that he never holds grudge against the organization and hopes the crowd appreciate his return.

"The way I left New York, I left in a good way. I'll hopefully get a good standing ovation. But if it's not I'm going to have fun. I'm still going to have some love for the New York fans, for all those years I was here. They were so patient and so kind to me, and I really want to thank them for that," he said.
