If anything, Robert Pattinson was really a big hero when he took back Kristen Stewart after their first fall out in July 2012 - - shortly after photos of the actress in the arms of Rupert Sanders created earthquake in Hollywood in Summer. And the couple tried to keep it together. Until both of them have had enough.

Robert never said a word after Kristen’s scandalous photos.
It must have been difficult for Rob to go out every day after her girlfriend’s reported summer romance would greet him every day. Like a gentleman that he is, he had always found a way to escape related questions during the promotion of his film, Cosmopolis with David Cronenberg at that time. But he never faltered. He took his pain on his own. He retreated to Reese Witherspoon’s Texan home and “enjoyed the pain” brought by the scandal.

Kristen owned up to her mistakes and begged for forgiveness.
She called Rob relentlessly according to reports. But Rob never picked up. The actress lost a couple of campaign projects and was even pictured snapping at one of her directors. The stress took a toll. They wouldn’t go away. Kristen hit the gym; suffered sleepless nights, crying; hit the gym again; called Rob hoping he picked up.

Robert went drinking.
Reports last year had it that Rob was seen in many occasions drinking, having fun with both male and female friends, hitting the bars; having more glasses of beer than usual; ignoring Kristen. The pain was too much.

Kristen kept Rob close to her heart.
In all those months that Rob was not picking up his phones nor replying to Kristen’s text messages, Kristen made sure he stayed close to her heart and made him feel her in any way possible. She wore his cap. She sported Rob’s oversized shirts. She even wore his boxers. This for Kristen to send him a message that it wasn’t over yet. She never stopped telling him and thanks to media lenses, Rob one day picked up his phone.

Rob took Kristen back.
Every Jane, Tom, Dick and Harry knows they were getting loved up in October 2012. Just a month before the first premieres of final installment of Twilight series, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - – Part 2” the lovers are back together, a welcome change not only for Kristen. It was what the producers were hoping for. It was what the lovebirds millions of Tween fans wanted in the end.

Rob defied his mother’s wishes. And that of his sister’s. He loved her and no one could stop him. Love was in the air. They were brave enough to get back together - - a road less travelled in Hollywood. They were an inspiration. They were inseparable.

Until Rob had to work overseas. Kristen got into racy Skype dates, said reports. Critics and fans waited with Kristen for Rob to come home. He did and Rob went straight knocking on Kristen’s door. Love was in the air again.

Two months after the second fall-out. It wasn’t sure who had had enough. But it didn’t end well.

"The truth is they couldn't have tried harder to make it work. There is genuine sadness - a really deep disappointment - that it didn't work out. But in the end I think they just ran out of steam,” a source was quoted as telling Grazia, said Belfast Telegraph –U.K.

There was nothing either of them could do. Kristen’s old antics to wear Rob’s clothes weren’t working anymore. Rob seemed to have been distant in recent photos of them together.

“They've never been able to get back to where they were before Kristen did what she did with Rupert. No matter what steps they took, that was always in the background. And every time they argued it was like falling on a bruise,” the source added.

Rob and Kristen separated after a huge fight on Rob’s birthday on May 13. Rob moved out of Kristen’s home in Los Feliz on May 19, Sunday. They never spoke since. Should they get back together?
