The musical performances on 'Saturday Night Live' are one of the main attractions of the show. And can anything be better than having Robyn on the most recent episode?

Robyn, the Grammy-nominated Swedish signer, performed her songs "Call Your Girlfriend" and "Dancing On My Own" along with sporting all her signature dance moves and of course, platform shoes, in an episode where Katy Perry also tried her hand at comedy.

Robyn's Personal Side

Robin Miriam Carlsson is not only a professional singer but also a great songwriter and successful record producer as well. Her parents are Swedish actors.

Her very first song was made for a television show in her home country and by 19, she got the attention of Meja, another Swedish pop artist who paved her way to stardom. Thanks to her affiliation with her, Robyn was able to sign with Ricochet Records.

Her energy and passion for music did not stop with her first album which led to her coming up with her second. She also became a UNICEF ambassador for countries in need of help like Tanzania and Kenya. She is also as deeply committed to her genuine intentions of helping children worldwide.

She also was awarded a prestigious scholarship for her musical attainments.

If only all musical guests on "SNL" were as talented!
