You may have never guessed that behind the body slamming, chest beating and wrestling antics, there is a college graduate. There is a conventional notion that people who work on their body do not work on their brain. Here are some of the most successful professional wrestlers who proved that wrong. They earned degrees in their academics as well.

John Cena

John Cena, the present WWE Champion, graduated in 1998. He graduated from Springfield College in Massachusetts. He had his degree in the subject of Exercise Physiology. This degree may have a lot to do with his wrestling career. Cena was also a football player (All-American). Cena believed in the power of good education. He felt that he learnt the method of prioritisation during his college days as he had to finish off several assignments. Cena has a record of winning the WWE title 11 times.

Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle was born in Pennsylvania. He is the only profession wrestler who also won a gold medal at the Olympics games held at Atlanta in 1996. Angle graduated in 1993. He studied Education in Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He has enjoyed remarkable success in both WWE (the then WWF) and TNA. He joined TNA in 2006.

Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler's real name happens to be Nicholas Nemeth. He fell in love with wrestling when he was just 5. However, it did not stop him from achieving a college degree in 2003. He studied Political Science (major) and pre-Law (minor) at Kent State University. He was all set to join a law school but he ended up being the World Champion in Heavyweight Wrestling (WWE) instead. He still likes to believe that he may join the law eventually despite his significant success in wrestling.

Kane

Superstar Kane was born as Glenn Jacobs. He graduated in 1990. He studied English Literature at Truman State University which was previously known as Northeast Missouri State University. Kane believes that his degree happens to be functional even when he became a wrestler. Kane became the Intercontinental Champion two times in his career. And, he became the Tag Team (WWE) champion 12 times.

The Rock

Dwayne Johnson graduated in 1995 before he became The Rock, one of the wrestling legends of WWE. He studied Physiology and Criminology at Miami University. The Rock is also an action star in Hollywood.
