Wanna smell what The Rock is cooking? It involves fresh and warm Nemean Lion blood. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has revealed his dietary menu as he prepares to take on the titular role in "Hercules: The Thracian Wars."

As a professional wrestler, Johnson has always been a big guy, but compared to how he looks now, he appeared a bit scrawny during his World Wresting Entertainment (WWE) days. He was already enormous by the time he appeared in the 2011 "Fast & Furious" franchise "Fast Five," but he looks even bulkier nowadays.

That's because demigods ought to be big. As Hercules, the 41-year-old star has the duty to look like one. For those who want to look like The Rock, he has posted his Herculean diet which he has to follow for 22 weeks.

"My current 22 week diet for the role of HERCULES. Cardio & iron before going to set. (Lion blood is optional;)" he wrote.

Calling it "The 12 Labours Diet," Johnson has 7 meals in one day, composed of carefully weighed ingredients, such as 16 oz. chicken, 8 oz. halibut, 14 egg whites, and lion's blood.

But he does more than just eat; he also works out at the gym. And by work out, we mean positively kill it in the gym. As he himself has put it, "6 months training & diet for the role of HERCULES has been a b****."

He also shared the contents of his fridge. Basically, all he has inside are packed meals, a shake, and a fish oil bottle. He thanks Chef Bogi for preparing his 7-meal/day packed food.

His Herculean efforts will surely bear good results, though. "Rush Hour" franchise director Brett Ratner is at the helm of the upcoming adaptation of the Roman classic.

"Hercules: The Thracian Wars" also stars Joseph Fiennes, Ian McShane, John Hurt, and supermodel Irina Shayk. It is expected to hit theatres in July 2014.
