The wife of singer Rod Stewart, Penny Lancaster has given birth to a baby boy for, couple’s second child.The newly born baby is named, Aiden and was born on Wednesday. The statement issued by the couple’s representative noted that the boy weighed 7 pounds and 12 ounces.

According to the Associated Press, the statement said: "Mother and baby are healthy and blissfully happy."

Stewart and Lancaster’s had their first son, Alastair in 2005.

This is the eighth child for the 66-year-old British rocker, according to Reuters. Lancaster is Stewart’s third wife. He was married twice before to models Alana Hamilton and Rachel Hunter. The singer has also had a number of relationships with another model, including Kelly Embery and actress, Britt Eckland.

Stewart’s hit singles include “Maggie May”, "Forever Young" and "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?"
