'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story': Jyn and Cassian extended TV spot released

A new TV spot of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” has been released online. The video focuses mainly on Jyn and Cassian, with some additional footage from the movie. The two characters are the most significant among the Rebels, as they take on a risky mission together.

Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) will emerge as an unlikely hero in the upcoming movie. The new TV spot looks at the journey of the protagonist over the years. She has been on her own since the age of 15. The challenges she had to face while growing up have made her “reckless” and “undisciplined.”

However, her temperament may be exactly what the Rebel Alliance needs. When she is brought in to meet with leader Mon Mothma (Genevieve O’Reilly), she decides to fight against the Empire with the professionals.

The Rebel Alliance has a mission for Jyn. She has to assemble a team and steal the plans of the Death Star, an orbital battle station constructed by the Empire that is capable of destroying an entire planet. Among the team members there is Captain Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), the dashing officer in the Rebellion.

Cassian is an intelligence officer, and it was he who reprogrammed the Imperial droid K-2SO (Alan Tudyk). The droid now works for the Rebels, but it is far from being perfect.

Jyn and Cassian will infiltrate the Empire by wearing disguises, and they will be accompanied by K-2SO. The protagonist will be dressed as an Imperial Gunner and her companion will get his hands on the uniform of an officer.

There will be a lot action and intrigue in “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” as it is expected to be different from the traditional movies of the franchise. The most highly anticipated scenes in the movie will be that of Darth Vader (Voice by James Earl Jones).
